We're at 16301 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20905 — just 8 miles north of the Capital Beltway, easily accessible from Montgomery, Howard, and Prince George's Counties.
We're open Monday through Friday 9am–7pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am–6pm. The barn office phone opens at 11am Monday through Friday.

Not at all! We welcome complete beginners of all ages. Our rolling admission means you can join a class anytime, and our instructors will place you in the right group from day one.
Riders must be at least 5 years old. We have programs for every age — from our Pony Pals for ages 5–7, to Children's Lessons for ages 8–16, to Adult Lessons for anyone 17 and older.
Woodland teaches Balanced Seat Equitation, a well-rounded riding position that prepares riders for many disciplines — including dressage, jumping, eventing, western riding, and more.
Absolutely! We offer Introductory Lessons for just $20, by appointment only. You'll meet our horses, staff, and instructors, have a lesson, and get all your questions answered. Call 301-421-9156 to schedule.
We offer group lessons, private lessons, and paired private lessons for all ages and skill levels. Group lessons run in quarterly 13-lesson packages, while private options are available in 4-lesson packages or as one-time sessions.
Group Lessons
$1,039 for a 13-lesson package
Our weekly group lessons are quarterly and provide 1 hour of instruction for small groups of riders at the same experience level.
Private Lessons
$590 for a 4-lesson package (new students)
$160 for a 4-lesson package (current students)
$180 for one-time lesson (new students)
Private lessons provides 45 minutes of one-on-one instruction with one of our professional instructors.
Paired Private Lessons
$541 for a 4-lesson package (priced per rider)
$150 for a 4-lesson package (priced per rider - current students)
$170 for one-time lesson (priced per rider - new students)
Paired private lessons provides 1 full hour of instruction for two riders with two of professional instructors. Students must provide their own riding partner.
Yes! We offer Pony Pals Summer Camp (ages 5–7), Horsemanship Summer Camp (ages 8–16), Spring Fling Camp (ages 5–16, during spring break), and Mini-Day Camps (ages 8+, on school holidays throughout the year).
Pony Pals Summer Camp is $685 per one-week session
Horsemanship Summer Camp is $1540 per two-week session
Spring Fling Camp is $700 for full week session
Mini Day Camp is $140 per one-day session
Riders need a properly fitted helmet and long pants with hard-soled boots that have a small heel. If you need gear, our on-site tack shop, Anytime Tack, carries everything you need.
Yes! Anytime Tack is located right on the farm property and carries everything you need for lessons, camp, and general horse care.
Yes. Our 25-acre estate includes lighted indoor and outdoor rings, paddocks, stables, fields, and riding trails — so lessons and camp activities can continue rain or shine.
Yes! We have Show Teams and informal In-House Shows for riders who are ready to compete. It's a great way to build confidence and celebrate your progress.
